When the heck are you going to open?

It's a question I know you are all asking. And in typical "restaurant opening" style, we still can't announce a date. Too many variables that include equipment arrival and final health inspections. I promise, you will be the first to know when we open the door!!

A large shipment of kitchen equipment came this week, including the now famous mighty milkshake machine (and yes, it lives up to it's reputation). Other arrivals include the ice machine, oven, work tables, sinks, etc.

Dial B for Blueplate. The Blueplate phone number is confirmed, Jeff was able to get the last 4 digits B-L-U-E. I'd announce it, but the phone hasn't been plugged in yet. :-)

But I like candy when it's wrapped in a sweater

Cool things are arriving to the house via UPS. This week, CANDY!! Jeff is going to sell classic penny candy at Blueplate. Note - due to inflation, it's .25 cent candy now (doh!).

What was in the first order? Some classics...Squirrel Nut Zippers, Lemonheads, Sixlets, Chic-O-Stix, Atomic Fireballs, Bazooka and more surprises.

I tell ya, I'm like a kid, in a...hope I don't eat it all before we open!
